THREE OR SIX SESSION
STRESS, ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION RESILIENCE COACHING & COUNSELLING PROGRAM

No other flower can lift your spirit as much as sunflowers do. They are bright, cheery and as warming as the sun itself and have an unmistakable sun-like appearance. Therefore I used them in my program to remind my clients that they can find healing from stress, anxiety and depression.

I know right now it might be difficult for you to imagine that this is possible for you. I understand why it is like that for you. When someone is caught up in a cycle of stress, anxiety and depression it can be difficult to see your way out of it. It is like been stuck in a maze and not knowing where the exit is or might be.

With this in mind I developed a Stress, Anxiety & Depression Resilience Program that assists my clients to understand the cycle that feeds stress, anxiety and depression and how to break free from it.

IN THIS PROGRAM YOU WILL LEARN TO:

+ understand the cycle of stress, anxiety & depression;

+ how to use four ways to break free from it;

In addition you will learn to understand yourself and have compassion for your own needs and how to meet them effectively.

NB – please note that we will not necessarily reach all these objectives in the 3 – 6 session together. I tailor the program according to each individual’s need and wishes.

WHAT WILL WE DO DURING THE PROGRAM

Depending on whether you choose three or six sessions – here is what more or less will happen in each session. I might change it according to your needs though. Each session lasts for one hour and each session is structured in three parts:

+ Check in

+ Exploration of sessions topic;

+ Check out

At the beginning of the session you will complete a short intake from and I will take time to learn more about you and where you are at.

We will cover the following themes in the sessions:

Session 1: Understand the cycle of stress, anxiety and depression;

Session 2: Explore your needs;

Session 3: Find best ways to meet your needs;

Session 4: Explore your thought patterns;

Session 5: Explore your need to share with others;

Session 6: Explore your sleep, eat and exercise.

WHAT TO EXPECT

You will have the opportunity to explore your own experience of stress, anxiety and depression in a safe and caring environment. I will help you better understand why you are experiencing it.

Many clients opt for the full program of six week and I would recommend it. It takes time to understand the insight shared in each session and to incorporate it into your own life. The full program will certainly bring better results.

WHO IS ROUX MALAN?

I am a clinical pastoral therapist registered with the South African Association for Pastoral Work (SAAP) and a certified life coach with both New Insights Africa and Master Coach University (US, San Deigo). I attained a Master’s Degree in Clinical Pastoral Care from the University of Stellenbosch. I served two religious denominations over a period twenty years and coached and counselled clients since 2003.

I am passionate about unleashing the true potential that often lies dormant in many of us as well as in our most cherished relationships. He is a skilful listener and have an intuitive ability to know what is needed to help my clients free their potential.

In my free time he like to meditate, read, walk on the beach and relax with his dearly-loved friend and life partner, Rachel. I also have two daughters both in their 20’s whom I love and cherish.
